Citadel's Black Velvet
....so sweet and true
"The tradition in Tibetan folklore of Beyul
- real, legendary, secret or hidden lands, usually described
as valleys. It is said that Guru Rinpoche empowered 108 havens
where serenity, prosperity, and spiritual progress are found.
The mystical land of Shangri-la is said to be such a place."
Every once in a while a stand-out TM comes along
that gives a really good yank on the ol' heartstrings and
this treasure of a boy did it for me. Lightning struck from
the moment I saw his first puppy pictures and even though
I tried to fight the feeling, it ended up that I just had
to have him. Nicknamed Cary Grant by his breeder Kathleen
McDaniel of Citadel TMs, Beyul quickly shot to star status
for me and my family. His homecoming was especially sweet
since he is the son of our homebred StormnAngels Comeback
Special and the beautiful Himalaya's Skyes Chen Citadel.
Beyul is also the grandson of our Xin Angeni Ni A Soechavati.
Blessed with abundant type, coat, and bone galore, Beyul
has proven himself to be a gentle spirit. He is an affable
easy boy with a balanced and self-assured demeanour. Words
can't tell of the simple magic and wonder that he brings
to us so I'm counting on the wisdom of the age-old adage
that a picture is worth a thousand words. I'll just let his
photo gallery tell his story.
Breeding History
Beyul is the sire of the "G" litter at StormnAngels
Tibetan Mastiffs. He was put to our very own StormnAngels
Dark Moon (call name: Orient) in August of 2007 and two months
later we were welcoming 9 of his puppies (5 males/4 bitches).
Some of Beyul's off-spring are destined for
other breeding programs around the world but we are especially
proud of our plans to keep one of his promising sons. Feel
free to visit with StormnAngels Garnet Lyon in the "Our Guardians" section.
