Two nights passed in that strangely warm month of January.
The Fair Ladies Three busily attending to their guests
when a knock came upon the door. Before them, a magnificent
creature wrapped all in black.
“I am come on a journey,” said she. “I
am lonely for my daughter of the Dark Moon, I beg you let
me enter. I bring mystical and wonderous gifts to share.
I bring you the dazzling treasures of protective amulets
and gemstones.”
And, with that, she laid her treasures on silken ebony.
“I bring you the rare gemstone Tanzanite from the
eastern lands of Africa in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Legend says that a bolt of lightning brought out the exotic
and luminescent blue-purple of the stone. It is the gift
offering to celebrate the first-born.
I offer you the gift of the Boji Stone. It is a living
stone filled with energy that comes from the base of a
pyramidal mount in central United States. Almost always
found in pairs of male and female, Boji Stones are black
and some shine with rainbows.
I offer you the gift of Imperial Jade that comes from
faraway Myanmar. The “Kingfisher plumes” used
in carvings and jewelry, this Jade is a deep emerald green.
Times past uphold it as the stone of the heart and it is
the ancient symbol of love and virtue.
I offer you the gift of a Moqui Marble from the deserts
of Utah. Named for the children of the Moqui tribe, this
is a living stone filled with energy. It is a shamanic
talisman that brings knowledge of ancient ways. Mystic
lore says that this Shaman’s Stone will bring your
animal guide to you.
I offer you the vibrant green of Malachite from Zaire.
Engrave upon its polished swirls an image of the sun. Valued
even to the venerable Egyptians, this semi-precious stone
will bring you protection, harmony, power and good fortune.
I offer you the vibrant blue-black Kyanite of Brazil.
An amulet promoting loyalty, it is one of pure goodness
as Kyanite never absorbs negativity.
I offer you the gift of Mugglestone, the Tiger Iron. A
picture stone of tiger-eye and hematite, the yellows and
golden-browns of nature paint her images of setting suns
in the Marra Mamba stone of Australia. It is an artistic
gemstone that lends courage, strength, confidence and creative
clarity.
I offer you the gift of red Jasper from India. This “rain-bringer” is
a magical power stone and helps bring about protection,
balance and courage.
I offer you the gift of Larimar from the Dominican Republic.
This “Dolphin Stone” carries within it the
sea-blue of the Caribbean. A peaceful and healing keepsake.”
“I offer you the goodness of these 9 gifts. Celebrate
and cherish them.”
The stories of the StormnAngels litters and the updates
that I do each week are really just a lot of fun and my
way of recording memorable happy events. It does take a
lot of extra patience and help from my entire family, however,
and this year I want to thank my husband and my children
for their support as I bred 2 litters - the "E" and "F" litters.
A extra special thank you to the “Fair Ladies Two” – my
daughters Caleigh and Aislinn. Their unwavering willingness
to lend a hand through all of this goes above and beyond.
