Case File: A Whole Lot of Bones
(inspired by the Fox TV series "Bones")
"Since I'm the first to arrive and we've got some time,
maybe I should set up the scene for ya. Looks like we've
got us some kind of case here. Seems like somebody's dug
up all these bones and we've got to discover where all these
bones belong. You know, get them to their people. Looks like
a big job! What? You want to know how I'll do it? Forgot
to introduce myself, didn't I! Here's my identification.
Go ahead, read it. My name is Bones.
Says there that I'm 475 grams of tough guy. I always wear
black but add a little colour- a light shade of blue. Anyway,
I got smarts like ya wouldn't believe but even I admit that
I need extra help on the cases every now and again. Just
so happens that I'm the driving force behind this special
team that tracks down stuff.you know.stuff that's buried
and forgotten. Don't believe me? Want proof? Here comes my
team now. I'll let them introduce themselves. You'll see.
We'll soon be hot on the trail of finding out where all these
bones belong."
"Name's Booth. Special Agent Seeley
Booth of the FBI. Read my Badge ID. 505 grams of handsome
hunky man wearing a black and tan coat with a black tie.
My past? Never mind. Let's just say I'm a sharp shooter.
Let's get something straight here. Any knowledge about me
is on a need-to-know basis. And that's all you need to know...for
now."
"My official name is Dr. Temperance Brennan.
Call me Temperance or Tempe. I'm a world traveler, very famous
and I have my own crime novel and television series. I seem
to be able to unearth mysteries of all kinds. For me, it's
all about the evidence. Booth thinks I'm pretty but I don't
know what that means. Identification: 455 grams and I like
to wear pure white."
"I'm Hodgins. The guy with the
rich and enigmatic past. I'm the digger of the team and I've
got a nose for sniffing out conspiracies. My identification
card reads 460 grams and I'm flashy with the Midas touch
of gold."
"Hello. My name is Zack Addy.
But you can call me Zack since that's my first name. I'm
not much of a barker and socializing is really not my thing.
I just love my job working at the Tarwellian Institution.
Identification: exactly 470 grams of blue/gold perfection."
"Hi, Sweetie, my name is Montenegro.
Identification: 470 grams of cute. I'm the artist of the
group and the creator of the "Angelator." I've got a famous
daddy. A real rocker. You'll find me with a sassy dash of
purple with my customary black outfit."
"Name's Squintz. Just a nickname
Booth gave me. I'm the dogged scientific type. A real investigative
hound. Identification: 480 grams with a bow tie of green.
I like to wear white shoes."
"My name is Camille but my friends
call me Cam. I've come late but I'm the new supervisor of
this team and they need to play by my rules. Well, not really,
but I have to show that I'm in charge, don't I? Identification:
430 grams of attitude. Bright red lets you know I'm here."
"Assistant United States Attorney Caroline Julian at your
service. Just call me Ausa, for
short. I'm another latecomer but I figured this group would
need someone who specializes in laying down the law. My identification?
I'm 430 grams of tough love but, underneath it all, I'm a
shades of pink softie."
End Note: Welcome to the world of our litter theme silliness.
We always have a blast thinking this stuff up and we hope
that it keeps you entertained as we do our weekly puppy
updates. A special thank you to Special Agent Aislinn Stormont
(code name: Stormin' Ace) for being there again this year.
My daughter never complains even when she's twisted like
a pretzel and wedged in the deepest darkest corner of the
whelping box helping to deliver these little furry babies.
High fives from Mom to you. A big thank you to daughter
Shaman also this year. The first time in the whelping room
and she did a great job as official record keeper and all-around
helper.
