Himalaya's Zhiji Chang
.A powerhouse
Named for the regional Guge Kingdom; a holy
site for pilgrimage.
Zhiji Chang -an early Rigden King of Shambala
(776-676). The third Dharma King, he was the bearer of the
Dharma Wheel and the auspicious conch.
And this boy is a king in his own right. A nugget
of a puppy, Gugey was whelped on January 29, 2005 in Virginia,
USA. He is the son of the mighty Himalaya's Vaishravana and
his dam is Alena Divali, a Czech Republic import. As with
all the StormnAngels dogs, Gugey is a companion first and
knowing that his sound character was grounded in a first-rate
and reliable pedigree was very important to me. He exhibits
sensational structure, natural agility and combines just
the right balance of the breed's solemn nature with the ability
to provide comic relief. Gugey is an extremely animated and
playful TM. As he slowly matures, I am genuinely encouraged
by Gugey's progress and look forward to him becoming a vital
force of the StormnAngels family and breeding program.
Breeding History
We are impressed with the entire package that
this male presents and we decided to put him to two females
for the 2006-2007 breeding season. On January 12, 2007 his
mate StormnAngels Dark Moon (call name: Orient) delivered
7 gorgeous little ones (3 males/4 bitches). Three days later
on January 15, 2007 his mate Himalaya's Nying Dang Draba
delivered 9 impressive puppies (6 males/3 bitches).
Some puppies from both litters are proving themselves
to be successful in the show ring and it is satisfying to
know that other breeders are already encouraged with the
overall soundness and development of Gugey's youngsters.
