“Gather close to hear my words, all you Travelers in Time. I am the Precious Beloved and I come to you from times long past to show you wonders as you have never seen. I share with you the sight of classical antiquity as seen by the likes of Antipater of Sidon and Philon of Byzantium so you too may gaze upon such marvels. I gather my children named in their honour. As you journey from the lands of Ephesus to the Pearl of the Mediterranean, as you journey from the Peloponnesus to the treasured lands of the Pharoahs, behold mysteries so miraculous they can never be forgotten.

End Note:

A beautiful start to the new year and a sweet way to mark our oldest daughter’s birthday with another litter safely delivered. We are all breathing a little easier. It’s another round of pondering on a litter theme to help make each one of these precious puppies that much more memorable to all of us. Please feel free to visit with us often as we put up the weekly puppy updates. Along with pictures I also do try very hard to keep up with the each individual puppy blog. As always, a mother’s love and gratitude to my daughters Aislinn and Shaman. Even though school exams were scheduled during this hectic week, both made time to tend to their studies and still found their way to the whelping room in the dark and wee hours of the morning.

This is a bittersweet time as it is my Shenyen’s last litter and she can retire from her breeding life with only the highest of praise from me. A most confident, strong and natural whelper, she has only ever improved with age. She is the classical “wonder of my world” and never fails to fill me with awe.
