While the Tibetan Mastiff has been in Canada for many years,
there are very few breeders devoted to the breed in this
country and many obstacles are thrown in our way. For numerous
reasons fostering and promoting these majestic dogs continues
to be a unique challenge. Because of this, StormnAngels is
especially pleased to announce this season's planned collaboration
with two breeders in Ontario.
The initial breeding for StormnAngels is between two
dogs that offer a lot of exciting potential and both StormnAngels
and Michewa kennels feel privileged to be forging the way
with our choices this year. We believe that our expected
December litter (designated "K" litter) for the 2009-2010
season will bring us the first puppies borne of
a dedicated joint effort by established breeders of this
province and country. This collaboration will
carry the StormnAngels prefix.
Michewa Chembow
He may be new to the world of dating but we feel that it
won't be long before Chembow makes his presence felt in the
Michewa breeding program. Born to his sire Red Dog's Thor
and his dam Kesang Camp's Oreo, Chembow resides with his
family at Michewa Tibetan Mastiffs in southern Ontario, Canada.
By the end of our first short visit with him we were completely
won over by this gentle black giant. He's simply difficult
to overlook with his impressive overall size and substance
and it was a pleasure to be charmed by his playful personality.
He's proving to be a cuddler and a flirt with the girls.

StormnAngels Dark Moon
A proven dam of some of the most solid and dependable off-spring
we have produced, Orient gets the nod for mother of the year
this 2009-2010 breeding season. Born on January 5, 2004 to
her sire Himalaya's Tale of Kasura Meru (call name: Tanjur)
and dam Himalaya's Nying Dang Draba (call name: Shenyen),
Orient continues to delight us with her quiet sweetness and
loving nature. She has been very slow to mature but the passage
of time has made the wait more than worthwhile. We see her
developing into a brilliant example of the breed. An inky
black girl, she presents with strong structural elements
and sound on-property guardian temperament. While independent
out in the yard, Orient loves to claim her rightful place
on the bed every night. She still performs her infamous paw-waving
greeting. She is the dam of the StormnAngels E and G litters.
Canadian results from Ontario Veterinary College: No radiographic
evidence of hip or elbow dysplasia. Registered with the American
Kennel Club and Canadian Kennel Club DNA Profile: Available

StormnAngels is very excited to present the second

Ontario Canadian kennel is establishing itself under
the name of Khamala Tibetan Mastiffs. Although the
female is co-owned and the male owned by StormnAngels,

Himalaya's Zhiji Chang
Gugey is the result of a lovely blended pedigree based on
first-rate bloodlines. The son of Himalaya's Vaishravana
and his dam Alena Divali, a Czech Republic import, Gugey
was whelped on January 29, 2005 in Virginia, USA. As with
all the StormnAngels dogs, Gugey is a companion first and
he exhibits exceptionally sound character and has enjoyed
stellar health to date. As a breeding candidate he displays
sensational structure, natural agility and combines just
the right balance of the breed's solemn nature with loving
fidelity. This year has seen a noticeable and impressive
change as a more mature black/tan Gugey enters into his prime
years. Gugey has proven to be a vital force of the StormnAngels
family and our breeding program. He is the sire of the StormnAngels
E, F and J litters.

evidence of hip or elbow dysplasia.

StormnAngels Himalia
Karma is a Canadian-born dog and is the daughter of Himalaya's
Lin Gyi (call name: Drago) and Himalaya's Nying Dang Draba
(call name: Shenyen). She is our first Tibetan Mastiff and
we have found this intoductory experience with the Tibetan
Mastiff breed to be an extraordinary one. Karma is a happy
dream come true. Matching an assured confident nature with
lovely conformation and type, our girl is a gentle soul with
those she knows. She shows daily that she is a supremely
devoted guardian and her family is of utmost importance to
her. Although this is to be her first litter, Karma has already
shown herself to be quite motherly. When we recently fostered
a young raccoon who required bottle-feeding, she would let
him snuggle to sleep in her thick fur while she kept herself
curled around him for warmth.
Canadian results from Ontario Veterinary College: No radiographic
evidence of hip or elbow dysplasia.
